What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, username, email address, password (encrypted), and golf handicap. When you log rounds, we collect your scores, course details, and the date played. We do not collect payment information directly — this is handled by Stripe if you upgrade to a paid plan.
How we use your data
Your data is used to provide the GreenRank service — calculating your net scores, updating league leaderboards, and displaying your profile to other league members. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Who can see your data
Other members of leagues you join can see your username, handicap, and round scores. Your email address is never visible to other users. Your profile is only visible within leagues you have joined.
Data storage
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are based in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account from your profile page, which removes all your personal data. For any data requests, contact us at privacy@greenrank.co.uk.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. The only cookies we set are those required for authentication.
